HHS has delivered its first report card on healthcare quality, with results that showed progress in the treatment of cancer, diabetes, end-stage renal disease and heart attacks, but pointed out some areas for big improvement, like preventive care. The report will help hospitals in their goal of giving patients the right care, says Richard Davidson, left, president of the American Hospital Association.
