Vesicouterine fistulas usually require laparotomy for repair.
A vesicouterine fistula occurring after cesarean section was successfully managed hormonally. In another case it developed in association with an intrauterine device and was repaired translaparoscopically.
Laparotomy may be avoidable in the management of a vesicouterine fistula.
