Abstract
Artifacts were observed when using epidural pressure monitoring systems (Gaeltec ICT/B Titan). These were produced by radio waves from our beeper system. A non-existing electromagnetic shield of the Gaeltec-measuring amplifier SN 10/11 could be found as the cause. The artifacts can lead to therapeutical errors.
