The title compound, C(10)H(13)NO(2), crystallizes with Z' = 2 in space group P-1. The molecules are linked by two O-H.N hydrogen bonds [H.O = 1.97 and 1.98 A, O.N = 2.810 (2) and 2.815 (2) A, and O-H.N = 175 and 174 degrees ] and by one C-H.O hydrogen bond [H.O = 2.50 A, C.O = 3.313 (2) A and C-H.O = 144 degrees ] into chains of edge-fused centrosymmetric rings in which R(4)(4)(16) and R(4)(4)(24) rings alternate.
