The authors revealed significant prevalence of health disorders among deep hole borers in Transpolar regions: vegeto-sensory polyneuropathy of upper limbs (26%) with partial involvement of bones and joints. Instrumental studies revealed early disorders in workers considered apparently healthy by prophylactic examinations and follow-up--that is of diagnostic and prognostic value for assessing disablement and conducting sanitary measures.
