Abstract

Low molecular weight heparins inaugurated a new era in the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular pathology. In this paper, a deep analysis of their mechanisms of action and pharmococynetics is made, and the advantages of its clinical utilization are emphasised, when compared to the classic unfractioned heparins.
