Shown in the paper are pathogenetic mechanisms of peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum that can be subjected to curative correction with the aid of EHF-therapy. Results are submitted of treatment and examination of 72 patients with peptic ulcer in whom EHF-therapy was instituted to deal with their condition. Recommendations are given on optimization of methodological approaches to the conduction of EHF-procedures, on combination of EHF-therapy with other methods for treating peptic ulcer.
