Abstract
Color agglutination test Wellcolex for rapid group identification of Salmonella and Shigella species was evaluated. The test revealed high specificity and gave information on presence of Salmonella and Shigella species in biological material in 24 hours. The test is suitable for standard diagnostic laboratories.
