To report a case of recurrent Thygeson's superficial punctate keratitis (SPK) in a patient submitted to photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) in one eye and laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) in the fellow eye.
Observational case report.
A 32-year-old woman was diagnosed with Thygeson's SPK 5 years before undergoing PRK on the right eye and LASIK on the left eye to correct -3.00 + 1.50 x 20 and -3.75 sph, respectively.
The patient presented with recurrence of Thygeson's SPK in the left eye 10 months after the LASIK procedure and no recurrence on the right eye, which was treated with PRK.
This case report suggests that PRK may be a better option than LASIK in patients with ocular history of Thygeson's SPK. However, no strong conclusion can be established until further studies confirm the hypothesis of a lower recurrence rate of Thygeson's SPK following PRK compared with LASIK.
报告一例患者，其一眼接受了准分子激光角膜切削术（PRK），另一眼接受了准分子原位角膜磨镶术（LASIK），之后出现了复发性蒂格森浅层点状角膜炎（SPK）。

一名32岁女性在右眼接受PRK、左眼接受LASIK以分别矫正-3.00 + 1.50 x 20和-3.75球镜度数的5年前被诊断为蒂格森SPK。
该患者在LASIK手术10个月后左眼出现蒂格森SPK复发，而接受PRK治疗的右眼未复发。
本病例报告表明，对于有蒂格森SPK眼部病史的患者，PRK可能比LASIK是更好的选择。然而，在进一步研究证实PRK后蒂格森SPK复发率低于LASIK这一假设之前，无法得出强有力的结论。
