One hundred forty-one patients were reviewed following osteosynthesis of their femoral neck fractures. All cases had been pinned using three or four short threaded 6.5 mm AO screws. It was found that those fractures with a vertical configuration, particularly in the males, showed a high rate of nonunion. It is concluded that simple pin fixation is not adequate for this specific group of patients.
对141例股骨颈骨折行骨接合术的患者进行了回顾性研究。所有病例均使用三枚或四枚6.5毫米短螺纹AO螺钉进行固定。结果发现，垂直型骨折，尤其是男性患者，骨不连发生率较高。得出的结论是，单纯的钢针固定对这一特定患者群体并不适用。
