To establish and evaluate the method for removing albumin and IgG in serum proteomics.
Elimination of serum albumin and IgG was achieved by filtering with Micro Bio-Spin column and the efficiency of purification evaluated by two-dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (2-DE).
The method for removing serum albumin and IgG was established, which enabled visualization of low-abundance proteins better in 2-DE map.
The established method for purifying serum proteins can be effectively applied in serum proteomic study of diseases.
