Coxarthritis and gonarthritis patients (n = 105) were divided into 3 groups. Group I patients received cryotherapy (CT), group II subjects were exposed to sinusoidal modulated currents (SMC), group III patients underwent multimodality treatment (cryoelectrotherapy). The most pronounced response for CT was achieved in gonarthritis with reactive synovitis. Overall effectiveness was the highest in cryoelectrotherapy. This may be due to potentiating effect of the cold and low-frequency currents combination.
髋关节炎和膝关节炎患者（n = 105）被分为3组。第一组患者接受冷冻疗法（CT），第二组受试者接受正弦调制电流（SMC）治疗，第三组患者接受多模式治疗（冷冻电疗法）。在伴有反应性滑膜炎的膝关节炎患者中，冷冻疗法取得了最显著的效果。总体有效性在冷冻电疗法中最高。这可能是由于冷疗和低频电流联合的增效作用。
