Abstract
Besides some centralised procurement, Scotland's IT programme is being implemented on a bottom-up basis. Wales has adopted a less rigid approach than England, encouraging stakeholder involvement. Northern Ireland's programme is more centralised, with all its hospital IT systems in two service centres.
