Abstract
As the practice-based commissioning revolution gets underway this month, our survey of primary care trusts and practices finds that two-thirds of PCT chief executives feel practices are not yet ready to deal with the new system. Meanwhile, half of practices are intending to manage commissioning budgets this year, with 98 per cent intending to be involved by 2008
