Exercises with changing distance between the eye and the test object, modified by the author, were used in the treatment of 75 children with strabismus after orthotropia was detected in them, in order to restore normal binocular vision that may be preserved if examined from various distances. After the treatment the frequency of recovered binocular vision at long and short distances was found the same.
