Inside-out meniscal repair.

Meniscal injuries are the most common surgically treated knee injury in the United States. Newer devices for an all-inside technique to repair the meniscus may have supplanted the arthroscopically assisted inside-out technique. The arthroscopically assisted inside-out technique is a well-established, highly successful method of repair. It is still necessary for certain types of meniscal repairs and some of its advantages cannot yet be matched by an all-arthroscopic method.
