The purpose of the present study was to investigate the radiological results of 40 autotransplantations (20 molars and 20 premolars) performed in the Orthodontic Department of the University of Geneva between 1979 and 1990. The sample demonstrated persistence of pulp vitality and continuous root growth, followed however in most cases by ankylosis and replacement root resorption. The data were in accordance with previous published studies and point out an ideal developmental stage for molar and premolar transplantation to ensure pulpal and periodontal survival.
本研究的目的是调查1979年至1990年期间在日内瓦大学正畸科进行的40例自体牙移植(20颗磨牙和20颗前磨牙)的放射学结果。样本显示牙髓活力持续存在且牙根持续生长,但在大多数情况下随后出现了牙根粘连和替代性牙根吸收。这些数据与先前发表的研究一致,并指出了磨牙和前磨牙移植以确保牙髓和牙周存活的理想发育阶段。
