The author discusses problems of morphological diagnosis and pathogenesis with reference to a case of sarcoma of the urinary bladder presenting the following particularities: exulcerated pedunculate macroscopic aspect, histological leiomyo- and myxosarcomatous differentiation, angiomatous hyperplasia and a late favourable course after partial cystectomy.
