BACKGROUND
Adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) of the Bartholin's gland is a rare malignancy of the female genital tract and there have been 62 cases of ACC of the Bartholin's gland in the literature.
CASES
Two cases of ACC of the Bartholin's gland are reported.
CONCLUSION
There is no consensus on optimal treatment of ACC of the Bartholin's gland. Most commonly, wide local excision and radical vulvectomy with or without lymph node dissection, are performed. More long-term follow up is recommended to evaluate optimal primary treatment and roles of radiotherapy and chemotherapy because ACC of the Bartholin's gland recurs and metastasizes long after primary treatment.
背景
巴氏腺腺样囊性癌是女性生殖道的一种罕见恶性肿瘤，文献中已有62例巴氏腺腺样囊性癌的报道。
病例
报告了2例巴氏腺腺样囊性癌病例。
结论
关于巴氏腺腺样囊性癌的最佳治疗方法尚无共识。最常见的是进行广泛局部切除和根治性外阴切除术，可伴有或不伴有淋巴结清扫。由于巴氏腺腺样囊性癌在初次治疗后很长时间才会复发和转移，因此建议进行更长时间的随访，以评估最佳的初始治疗方法以及放疗和化疗的作用。
