215 cases diagnosed of human leptospirosis in the Camagüey Province, Cuba, are studied, for the period between 1986 and 1990. The clinical and epidemiological features are studied, together with the anatomopathological study of the decreased. The most frequent complications and the treatment employed, including prophylactic measures, are analyzed. It is concluded that the disease is more frequent in young males, from a rural origin and with a farming job. Acute kidney failure was the main complication, and as for the therapeutic approach, penicillin was the antibiotic of election, prophylactic measures are important, specifically vaccination.
对1986年至1990年期间古巴卡马圭省诊断出的215例人类钩端螺旋体病病例进行了研究。研究了临床和流行病学特征，以及死者的解剖病理学情况。分析了最常见的并发症和所采用的治疗方法，包括预防措施。得出的结论是，该病在农村出身、从事农业工作的年轻男性中更为常见。急性肾衰竭是主要并发症，在治疗方法上，青霉素是首选抗生素，预防措施很重要，特别是疫苗接种。
