Nursing services for children of families living in university housing.

A university-based ambulatory pediatric nursing clinic was developed for two purposes: (a) to provide clinical experiences for senior nursing students in pediatric ambulatory care, and (b) to deliver nursing services to families with children for whom no organized health service existed on campus. Topics covered in this article include a literature review, historical background, and description of services delivered. A brief case study depicts use of the nursing clinic by one family.
