Abstract
We decided to instruct ourselves of the scientific world literature at the beginning of the 21st century regarding the treatment of fractures. We wanted to convince ourselves if there is a real progress in this area. In the following chapters concerning particular body regions we present the contemporary experiences in the diagnostics, treatment, visible tendencies and directions of the development.
