Abstract

Tungiasis is an inflammation of the skin caused by infestation of a fertilised female sand flea, Tunga penetrans. Two patients who contracted this skin disease in the tropics (Surinam and Kenya-Uganda) are described. Because of the increase of international travelling, import diseases are seen more often. If the disease is known, it is easy to diagnose and to treat tungiasis.

潜蚤病是由受精的雌性沙蚤（穿皮潜蚤）寄生引起的皮肤炎症。本文描述了两名在热带地区（苏里南和肯尼亚-乌干达）感染这种皮肤病的患者。由于国际旅行的增加，输入性疾病更为常见。如果了解这种疾病，潜蚤病很容易诊断和治疗。
