Abstract
Retropharyngeal abscesses in children are unusual and the involvement of the mediastinum is exceptional since the era of the antibiotics. It can be explained by the anatomic continuity between the retropharyngeal space and the retrooesophageal space. We report a case where the CT Scanner allows a complete evaluation of the disease in the mediastinum and a good follow-up.

儿童咽后脓肿并不常见，自抗生素时代以来，纵隔受累的情况更是罕见。这可以通过咽后间隙与食管后间隙之间的解剖连续性来解释。我们报告一例通过CT扫描能够对纵隔疾病进行全面评估并进行良好随访的病例。
