OBJECTIVE
Our objective was to describe the development of nonobstructive, localized intraarterial thrombi after percutaneous injection of thrombin into femoral pseudoaneurysms.
CONCLUSION
Partial extension of thrombi into the arterial lumen may occur after injection of thrombin into small pseudoaneurysms with short necks. In our experience, this is an asymptomatic and self-limited complication of the procedure.
