To investigate the association of estrogen receptor (ER) gene polymorphism and primary trigeminal neuralgia.
By polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP), ER gene polymorphism was analyzed in 20 trigeminal neuralgia (TR) patients and 20 control individuals, and the distribution of ER genotype was compared in TR group and control group.
There was no significant difference in frequencies of allele and genotype in XbaI or PvuII polymorphism or XbaI with PvuII polymorphisms together between TR group and control group (P > 0.05). The genotypic distribution of Xx or PpXx in TR group was higher than control group, and it was contary to xx, ppxx or Ppxx in TR group and control group.
XbaI or PvuII polymorphism may be related to TR. Women with PpXx genotype may be a dangerous factor to primary trigeminal neuralgia.
探讨雌激素受体(ER)基因多态性与原发性三叉神经痛的相关性。
采用聚合酶链反应-限制性片段长度多态性(PCR-RFLP)技术,对20例三叉神经痛(TR)患者和20例对照个体进行ER基因多态性分析,并比较TR组和对照组中ER基因型的分布情况。
TR组与对照组在XbaI或PvuII多态性或XbaI与PvuII多态性联合检测时,等位基因和基因型频率无显著差异(P>0.05)。TR组中Xx或PpXx的基因型分布高于对照组,而TR组和对照组中xx、ppxx或Ppxx的情况则相反。
XbaI或PvuII多态性可能与TR有关。具有PpXx基因型的女性可能是原发性三叉神经痛的危险因素。
