The paper provides a brief review of mainly foreign publications of recent years, concerned with the clinical pleomorphism, etiology, diagnosis, classification and treatment of diverse dystonic syndromes. Special emphasis is laid on the new or unusual clinical patterns of dystonia as well as on the latest advances in its treatment.
