The authors analyze 36 cases of operative procedures for surgical complications of ulcer disease in children and juveniles. Perforation of ulcer was noted in 30 cases, bleeding--in 4 cases, combination of penetration of ulcer into the pancreas head with bleeding--in one case, in the other case--perforation of gastric ulcer with bleeding. Emphasis is laid on the severity of complications and in relation with it a question arises of early diagnosis and treatment of ulcer disease in children and juveniles.
