Expiration dates on drug samples are often cumbersome to check due to their poor legibility and variable location on the containers. Consequently, many samples remain unused past their expiration dates and must be discarded. Timely use of samples can be facilitated by legibly writing their expiration dates on the top surface of their containers, stratifying all samples by their expiration dates in chronologically labeled shelves and reviewing the stock monthly. This procedure should also be useful for other dated items.
药品样品的有效期往往难以查看，因为其字迹模糊且在容器上的位置不固定。因此，许多样品在过期后仍未使用，必须予以丢弃。通过在容器顶面上清晰地写下样品的有效期、将所有样品按有效期在按时间顺序标记的架子上分层摆放并每月检查库存，可以促进样品的及时使用。该程序对其他有日期标注的物品也应有用。
