BACKGROUND/AIMS: This study aims to establish a model to measure the forces required for tension-free vaginal tape (TVT) trocar application using a pressure transducer.
A 3.5 x 3.5 cm pressure transducer was constructed from piezo-resistive material. The transducer digitally recorded the surface contact pressure (pressure = force/area) profile continuously during TVT trocar application. Recordings were successfully obtained from 24 subjects.
The mean (standard error) peak contact pressures during application at the right and left side vaginal walls, and right and left side abdominal walls were 1.05 (0.12) pounds per square inch (psi), 1.08 (0.21) psi, 2.49 (0.3) psi and 2.49 (0.3) psi, respectively. On both the right and left side, pair-wise comparisons between trocar insertion and exit forces were significantly different (p < 0.001).
A model has been developed by which TVT trocar application forces can be objectively measured. The TVT trocar exit force is substantially greater than the insertion force, regardless of side.
背景/目的：本研究旨在建立一种使用压力传感器测量无张力阴道吊带术（TVT）套管针应用所需力量的模型。
用压阻材料制作一个3.5×3.5厘米的压力传感器。在TVT套管针应用过程中，该传感器持续数字记录表面接触压力（压力=力/面积）曲线。成功从24名受试者获取了记录。
在右侧和左侧阴道壁以及右侧和左侧腹壁应用过程中的平均（标准误差）峰值接触压力分别为每平方英寸1.05（0.12）磅（psi）、1.08（0.21）psi、2.49（0.3）psi和2.49（0.3）psi。在右侧和左侧，套管针插入力和拔出力的两两比较均有显著差异（p<0.001）。
