To study the chemical constituents of a Tibetan medicine Meconopsis quintuplinervia.
Column chromatographic techniques were applied to isolate constituents. A combination of IR, MS and NMR spectroscopy was used to identify structures of constituents.
Twelve compounds were isolated from the ethanolic extract and their structures were elucidated as quercetin 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (I), quercetin 3-O-beta-D-galactopyranosyl-(1-->6)-glucopyranoside (II), kaempferol 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)-beta-D-glucopyranoside (III), isorhamnetin 3-0-beta-D-galactopyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta-D-glucopyranoside (IV), caffeic acid (V), protocatechuic acid (VI), p-hydroxycinnamic (VII), 2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl )-ethyl-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (VIII), p-hydroxybenzoyl-beta-D-glucopyranoside (IX), 4-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(Z)-p-coumaric acid (X), 5, 7-dihydroxy-4H-4-chromenone (XI), daucosterol (XII).
Ten compounds were isolated from this genus for the first time except for XI and XII.

采用柱色谱技术分离化合物。运用红外光谱、质谱和核磁共振光谱相结合的方法鉴定化合物结构。
从乙醇提取物中分离得到12个化合物,其结构分别鉴定为槲皮素3 - O - β - D - 吡喃葡萄糖苷(I)、槲皮素3 - O - β - D - 吡喃半乳糖基 -(1→6)- 吡喃葡萄糖苷(II)、山柰酚3 - O - β - D - 吡喃葡萄糖基 -(1→2)- β - D - 吡喃葡萄糖苷(III)、异鼠李素3 - O - β - D - 吡喃半乳糖基 -(1→6)- β - D - 吡喃葡萄糖苷(IV)、咖啡酸(V)、原儿茶酸(VI)、对羟基肉桂酸(VII)、2 -(3,4 - 二羟基苯基)- 乙基 - O - β - D - 吡喃葡萄糖苷(VIII)、对羟基苯甲酰 - β - D - 吡喃葡萄糖苷(IX)、4 - O - β - D - 吡喃葡萄糖基 -(Z)- 对香豆酸(X)、5,7 - 二羟基 - 4H - 4 - 色原酮(XI)、胡萝卜苷(XII)。
除XI和XII外,首次从该属植物中分离得到10个化合物。
