Biological treatments of schizophrenia primarily consist of neuroleptics. These drugs can be prescribed in a relatively standardized manner (chlorpromazine equivalent), but neuroleptics will be less than effective on the type of schizophrenia with negative symptoms. Treatment can also be performed by utilizing the bipolarity of some drugs, and it is only with these drugs that resistant schizophrenia can be mobilized. Consideration is also given to other biological treatments and new prospects in chemotherapy.
精神分裂症的生物治疗主要包括使用抗精神病药物。这些药物可以以相对标准化的方式（氯丙嗪等效剂量）开处方，但抗精神病药物对具有阴性症状的精神分裂症类型效果较差。治疗也可以通过利用某些药物的双向性来进行，只有使用这些药物才能治疗难治性精神分裂症。还考虑了其他生物治疗方法以及化疗的新前景。
