Abstract

OBJECTIVE

To evaluate the clinical outcome and the effects of treating peri-implantitis with periocline.

METHODS

Thirty-two sites in 32 implants with peri-implantitis were treated with periocline. The parameters including plaque index, probing depth (PD) of pocket, sulcular bleeding index (SBI) were measured at baseline, 1, 3, 6 and 12 weeks after treatment and followed up for 6 months.

RESULTS

Statistically significant decrease (P < 0.05) in SBI, and PD occurred at all time intervals compared to baseline. The treatment could last for at lest four weeks in peri-implantitis cases without fistula.

CONCLUSIONS

Periocline could be safely and effectively used in treating peri-implantitis in cases without peri-implant fistula. Peri-implantitis with fistula should be treated in combination with surgical methods, and periocline can also be used to control inflammation before surgery.

目的

评估使用派丽奥治疗种植体周围炎的临床疗效。

方法

对32例患有种植体周围炎的32颗种植体部位使用派丽奥进行治疗。在治疗前、治疗后1周、3周、6周和12周测量包括菌斑指数、牙周袋探诊深度(PD)、龈沟出血指数(SBI)等参数,并随访6个月。

结果

与基线相比,在所有时间间隔SBI和PD均有统计学意义的显著降低(P < 0.05)。对于无瘘管的种植体周围炎病例,该治疗至少可持续四周。

结论

派丽奥可安全有效地用于治疗无种植体周围瘘管的种植体周围炎病例。有瘘管的种植体周围炎应联合手术方法治疗,派丽奥也可在手术前用于控制炎症。
