Abstract
A case of Whipples disease presenting with polyarthropathy and weight loss is presented. Ultrasound revealed unusual distinctive diffusely echogenic retroperitoneal lymphadenopathy which resolved after treatment. These appearances, particularly in a young male, support this diagnosis.
