[Blood supply of malignant tumors of the liver after embolization of the hepatic artery].

Repeated angiographic studies (10 arteriographies, 3 percutaneous transhepatic portography) were performed in 10 patients with malignant tumors of the liver 5-20 months after embolization of the hepatic artery. The ++roentgenological data obtained and results of 3 autopsies enabled the authors to make a conclusion that blood supply of malignant tumors of the liver after embolization of the hepatic artery remains mainly of arterial type.
