[Leukocyte enzyme activity in the colostrum of parturients in health and with hypogalactia].

Leukocytic myeloperoxidase and alkaline phosphatase activities were measured in the colostrum of puerperants. The findings evidence that disordered secretion of the mammary glands is regularly associated with changes in the activities of these enzymes. These data should be borne in mind when managing hypogalactia.
