Efficacy of transcranial micropolarization (TCMP) was studied in the treatment of 34 children aged 3-6 years with disorders of expressive speech (DES). The course of TCMP improved speech activity, increased active vocabulary and listening attention. Children who were able to use phrases in their speech used longer phrases after the therapy. The analysis of quantitative EEG demonstrated potentiation of alpha-rhythm power in the temporal and occipital areas, attenuation of the power in theta-band (4-8.5 Hz) in the central and frontal zones of the cortex after TCMP treatment.
