Surgical treatment of extreme obesity can reliably achieve a significant weight loss. With interdisciplinary management, long-term therapeutic success is possible. Of particular importance, however, is the comprehensive education of the patient prior to surgery, and postoperative long-term care provided by the patient's own doctor.
极端肥胖的手术治疗能够可靠地实现显著的体重减轻。通过多学科管理，长期的治疗成功是可能的。然而，特别重要的是在手术前对患者进行全面教育，以及由患者自己的医生提供术后长期护理。
