Abstract

The "dry" fission-track registration method was used to analyze uranium concentrations in drinking water samples collected from various water sources in some cities of India. A nuclear track detector made of plastic was used for registering fission tracks. Results showed a uranium concentration in drinking water of 0.67-20.26 micrograms L-1.
