Nuclear scintigraphy in the evaluation of patients with cancer is a significant part of the practice of clinical nuclear medicine. The oncologic applications in nuclear medicine are dynamic in that traditional techniques are undergoing change due to the development of new pharmaceutical agents and instrumentation.
