Abstract
OBJECTIVE
We sought to create an Internet-based search engine to retrieve images from a large collection of figures published in peer-reviewed journals.
CONCLUSION
The GoldMiner search engine provides easy, rapid access to a large library of images and their associated text, and it is freely available for use on the Internet.
