A case is presented involving the use of atracurium (120 mg) as a muscle relaxant in a patient with known variegate porphyria. The concentrations of urinary porphyrins and porphyrin precursors did not increase after this anaesthetic, and no exacerbation of the disease was noted. This single case suggests that atracurium can be used safely in patients with porphyria.
本文报告了一例已知患有杂合性卟啉病的患者使用阿曲库铵（120毫克）作为肌肉松弛剂的病例。使用这种麻醉剂后，尿卟啉和卟啉前体的浓度没有增加，且未观察到疾病加重。这一单独病例表明，阿曲库铵可安全用于卟啉病患者。
