[Psycosomatic associations in internal diseases. Part I].

The author of the review considers associations between such psychological factors as anxiety, depression, stress, and personal features, and the most common somatic diseases. The paper demonstrates a significant connection between anxiety and depression, on the one hand, and the appearance, clinical course, and prognosis of a range of diseases, on the other. Evaluation of the appropriateness and efficacy of treatment of mental disorders was done on the basis of certain randomized studies.
