The adaptation of junior students to academic activity was studied on the basis of changes in hemodynamics, automatic cardiac rhythm regulation, and a simple visual monitoring response (SVMR) during an academic year in the relation of their progress in studies. A number of the parameters of SVMR, hemodynamics, and cardiac rhythm variability were revealed, which significantly differ in the examinees who had low results and who had high results.
