[Adaptation and quality assurance of rehabilitation in all federal states--outline of a challenge].

Though based on a uniform definition of rehabilitation, the rehabilitation services provided and the rehabilitative procedures applied have taken very different courses of development in the old and new states of the Federal Republic of Germany. Taking into account the varying approaches, considerations are presented in view of optimized rehabilitation in the Federal states, old and new.
