The activity of serum cholinesterase was measured over three days after ligature of the common bile duct in female Wistar rats. A specific effect of the ligature was observed on the third day postop.: the activity decreased. The delayed reaction can be explained by the long half-life of the enzyme. Further, in all operated rats (sham-operated, too) a decrease of activity on the first postop. day was noticed. Possible causes are an influence of the anesthetics or sequels of the operative trauma.
在雌性Wistar大鼠胆总管结扎后的三天内测定血清胆碱酯酶的活性。在术后第三天观察到结扎的特定影响：活性降低。这种延迟反应可以用该酶的长半衰期来解释。此外，在所有手术大鼠（包括假手术组）中，术后第一天都注意到活性下降。可能的原因是麻醉剂的影响或手术创伤的后遗症。
