[The scope of epidemiologic surveillance in selected European countries].

The article presents: the historical outline of development of current surveillance systems in epidemiology, laws regulating surveillance issues in particular countries of E.U., purposes, tasks of ECDC, the scope of surveillance on infections diseases in selected European Countries.
