Bifid median nerve as a cause of carpal tunnel syndrome. Report of one case.

The authors describe a case of bifid median nerve at the wrist resulting in carpal tunnel syndrome, and they emphasize the rarity of this occurrence. In this case, the disorder is accompanied by agenesis of the thenar eminence and bony malformation of the radial column of the wrist.
