We report three cases suffering from endocarditis caused by pacemaker lead infection. Because of the long interval beginning from implantation to surgical removal and the large vegetations on the leads, the entire pacemaker system was removed under extracorporeal circulation (ECC). Postoperative courses were uneventful and none of these patients have shown recurrent infection to date. The total removal of the pacemaker system using ECC support seems a safe and reliable procedure, provided that careful perioperative management is carried out.
我们报告了3例由起搏器导线感染引起的心内膜炎病例。由于从植入到手术移除的间隔时间较长，且导线上有大量赘生物，整个起搏器系统在体外循环（ECC）下被移除。术后病程平稳，迄今为止这些患者均未出现反复感染。只要进行仔细的围手术期管理，使用ECC支持完全移除起搏器系统似乎是一种安全可靠的手术。
