Abstract

An IBM PC/XT compatible microcomputer based system for recording intracellular pH with ion-selective microelectrodes is described. The method for making ion-selective microelectrodes, the designing ideas of the ion-selective microelectrode amplifier and method for improving the accuracy of measurement are addressed. The performance of the system meets the requirements of experiments. Accuracy of measurement, advantages and disadvantages of the system are discussed.
